Overview

Blockchain, as a decentralized open ledger, has proven to be a phenomenal success. This ground-breaking technique holds a huge promise in various fields, digital identification, data marketing, cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, etc. With the popularity of blockchain, the security, privacy and scalability of blockchain have received unprecedented attention. We are at such a point to solve these challenges to bring in a more promising blockchain economy.

This summer summit is positioned to be an opening platform, aiming to bring in state-of-the-art techniques in blockchain, where audience can both learn about the latest research in the academic and the cutting-edge development in the industry. We also desire to inspire insights to promote blockchain techniques.

Several world leading researchers in this area will be invited to give lectures and attend panels. Our lectures cover a comprehensive set of topics about blockchain technologies, including: Blockchain and Bitcoin Fundamentals; Scalability; Alternative consensus; Incentives and Game-Theoretic Considerations in Bitcoin; Permissioned blockchain and enterprise case studies; Smart contracts and security; Zero Knowledge in Blockchain Applications. The summer summit will also include two panels — "Scalability, Sustainability and Security: Searching for New Blockchain Solutions" and "Blockchain in the Real World".
